A vibrant and expressive Kenyan coffee from the slopes of Mount Kenya. In the cup, it shows the classic character we love from Kenya: bright acidity, juicy red-like fruit and a clean, structured finish. The AA grade refers to the large bean size, while the character of the cup comes from the high-elevation growing conditions, varieties and careful processing.

This coffee feels like the perfect companion as we transition into autumn, bringing a little bit of sunny summer memories to those cosy days spent inside.

SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian are coffee varieties, different types of coffee plants. SL28 is known for bright, fruity flavours, while SL34 often brings sweetness and a fuller character. Ruiru 11 was developed in Kenya to produce good-quality coffee while being more resistant to disease. Batian was also developed in Kenya, with a focus on good cup quality, higher yields and resistance to coffee diseases. Together, these varieties play an important role in the character of Kenyan coffee.

Keep your coffee fresh

Store your coffee airtight in a clip-sealed bag or metal tin to protect it from air and light. Let your coffee rest for 2 weeks after roasting to degas. Then it reaches its brewing flavor peak up till 8 weeks. If you won’t use it within two months, you can portion and freeze your coffee to maintain freshness.
