Tasting note: Rose, Violet, Maracuja, Melon
Local: Ibague, Tolima
Farmer: Milton Monroy, San Pedro
Variety: Gesha
Processing: Natural Expertimental
This coffee has taken producer Milton Monroy to the world stage. An exceptional Gesha coffee grown high up the mountains of Tolima. A place where trees are touching the clouds and growing slowly in cool temperatures. Growing and ripening of the coffee fruit comes slow here, as well as the processing. With slow drying and long controlled fermentation (anaerobically).
But patience bears sweet fruit with this stellar coffee. As our partner in Colombia describes it 'tasting the clouds in every cup´
A very clean and delicate cup with Notes of rose, violet, maracuja and melon
